Herbert Smith Freehills has headquarters in London and Sydney. After making an approach to the London office directly, I was commissioned by the Partner in charge of art to produce artwork for their reception space in Exchange House. The theme was decided to be London with a focus on recognisable landmarks. Using photographs from my existing portfolio, I was able to put together two sets of three London images that worked well together, for two separate wall spaces. The preferred medium was diasec. Due to the existence of a pre-installed hanging rail, I engaged the services of a professional art installation company to ensure my artwork could be installed using the existing hanging system.

“Alex is a real pleasure to work with. I chose a selection of works from his extensive range of London landmarks. He has a real eye for the distinctive shot. He expertly presented them in a very sharp and clear, high quality diasec medium and then arranged for an impressive installation. I wouldn’t hesitate to work with him again.”
