The Brooklyn Bridge in New York, connecting Brooklyn with Lower Manhattan. Designed by John Augustus Roebling and opened in 1883.

One of my favourite images taken in New York in 2016, partly because of the story surrounding its capture. That morning I had planned to travel to New Jersey for a view of Midtown across the Hudson, however, due to me not believing the cost of a 10-minutes cab journey (crossing a state border) I asked the cab driver to take me to Brooklyn Bridge, where I captured this image. Unplanned images are the most satisfying!
