A well known tunnel in Ribeira, it is flowing with traffic all day and night. However, on one evening in 2013, I was walking around Ribeira taking photographs. Fortunately there were road works at the entrance to the tunnel, closing it to traffic. I took this opportunity to capture this image. The symmetry and lines and colours all make this image mesmerising.
