When I took an Uber to Treasure Island to be dropped off for dusk I was on a tight schedule. I arrived a few minutes before I needed to set up - after 17 years as a photographer I’ve not learnt that sunset waits for no man. However, when I arrived, the walkway was undergoing major works and was not accessible at any point along the island. I did not have time to travel to another location for sunset so I improvised and set up my tripod as high as it would allow, just managing to peer over the fences. The downside was that it was out of reach to look through the viewfinder and change the settings. I fixed the settings and hoped for the best. This was the result, which couldn’t have been more pleasing. This excitement happened in 2018.
