LONDON: St Paul's Cathedral and Millennium Bridge

LONDON: St Paul's Cathedral and Millennium Bridge

from £309.00

St Paul’s Cathedral was designed by Sir Christopher Wren after the Great Fire of London in 1666 and completed in 1710, 35 years later. The Millennium Bridge is a footbridge connecting St Paul’s to the South Bank and Tate Modern. It was designed and constructed by Arup Group, Foster and Partners and Sir Anthony Caro. It opened in 2000 as part of the Millennium celebrations, but closed shortly afterwards due to the ‘wobble’. It was modified and reopened in 2002.

This is one of the most photographed locations in London and taken in 2018. I admit I have attempted this photograph nearly every year since 2004!
