The Dom Luís I Bridge spans the River Douro and connects Porto and V. N. da Gaia. It was designed by François Gustave Théophile Seyrig and completed in 1886. This view is from Gaia looking over Porto.

Photographed at sunset 2012, it is one of the most recognisable views of Porto, albeit photographed from the neighbouring city of Gaia on the opposite side of the River Douro.
